We have a concept “Pentester” I want to explain more clearly. Pentester is a form of testing your IT system to be compromised, by simulating the test attacks generated. Penetration Testing (Pentest) is simply a security assessment by hacking into the system. Vulnerability Assessment is a process of reviewing services and systems to identify potential security issues or to detect traces when a system is compromised. The person performing an intrusion test is called an intrusion tester or pentester.
Access to the test requires the permission of the system owner. Otherwise, you will be hacking the system, and that is illegal. In other words: The difference between penetration testing and hacking is that you have the permission of the system owner.
