Buglab ICO Review – Affordable Cybersecurity Penetration Testing For All

With the development of blockchain technology, many useful revolutionary applications have been born. This is due to the wide range of applications that allow it to decentralize a spectrum of the system. I would like to introduce a new blockchain platform with the task of decentralizing network security with the help of whitehat to keep SMEs be protected — BUGLAB.
BUGLAB is a platform based on Ethereum that connects companies with a global network of cyber security researchers. There are two programs — the BUGLAB contest and the Vigilante Protocol, which help companies around the world discover and fix vulnerabilities in digital solutions or assets.
We have two concept: The BUGLAB contest and Vigilante protocol
BUGLAB contest
Buglab links its customers with a global network of intrusion-enabled cyber security penetration testers in a recommended environment. Rewards will be given to the testers based on the discoveries they found in the time limit contest.
Vigilante protocol
With this protocol, Buglab provides a way for white hat hackers to share their discoveries about vulnerabilities in the system. They will then work with certified people around the world to verify those findings and notify them to companies in distress.

So, who is customer of BUGLAB

Small and Medium enterprise ( SMEs) which is need protected their digital assets when they come to the BUGLAB.
Certificates and Computer Securties Incident Response Team can be a partner with buglab on building a sustainable vulnerability prevention system to help companies.
Or Pentester & Whitehats looking for a trusted way to help businesses worldwide and be compensated.
We have a concept “Pentester” I want to explain more clearly. Pentester is a form of testing your IT system to be compromised, by simulating the test attacks generated. Penetration Testing (Pentest) is simply a security assessment by hacking into the system. Vulnerability Assessment is a process of reviewing services and systems to identify potential security issues or to detect traces when a system is compromised. The person performing an intrusion test is called an intrusion tester or pentester.
Access to the test requires the permission of the system owner. Otherwise, you will be hacking the system, and that is illegal. In other words: The difference between penetration testing and hacking is that you have the permission of the system owner.

But the Penetration System and Bug bounties are having problems!

Cost inefficient
Companies do not get the most of their spending, whether it’s hourly pentester models, or a pay-per-vulnerability model.
Lack of resources
Network security companies usually only bring a few pentesters to do a task, which is limit their skills.
Irrelevant reports
In fact, with bounties, the researchers pay close attention to the number of bugs without taking into account the quality of the detection. That brings very little value to the customer.

BUGLAB solution

There are many features on the platform that make it easy for users to customize their penetration testing methods. While the private contest refers to a small test community, public testers are generated by companies displaying their estimated criteria, with the invitation to join the entire Buglab community.
Users will also be able to select participants by country, region, core skill, or total user score from the selection filter on the platform. There is a fixed companion function that the BUGLAB team verifies that the fixes have been made.
There is also a vigilante protocol that BUGLAB gives whitehat the opportunity to inform businesses not to use the platform of vulnerabilities they may not know. Ethically and sustainable, whitehat will disseminate information.
Buglab platform users will enjoy affordable transparent payment systems for small and medium businesses. In addition, the user has full refund rights, if there is no flaw.
Business will be provided with reports on the security contest. The report will detail the performance of each contest. With this, the client can compare the security status of its properties.
In addition to the competition system, Buglab also introduced a global integrated blocking program called “the Buglab Vigilante Protocol”. It is a system that allows you to report vulnerabilities of companies that are not customers of this platform.
In summary, Buglab provides a comprehensive, secure and secure solution for all types of network attacks that can threaten your business.

TEAM

Buglab team is experienced experts in the field of Network security, IT, Blockchain, Software Development, Marketing.
The CEO of the project is Reda Cherqaoui, an expert in cybersecurity, who has been working since the age of 16. He is involved in companies from bank to electronics manufacturers.

ROADMAP

The project began in 2016 with the first people, the first ideas, the first lines of code. Since then, the project has achieved remarkable milestones.
March, 2016: Development Begins.
February, 2017: French Tech Ticket. Acceptance and Team Relocation.
June, 2017: IBM Global Entrepreneur. Program Acceptance.
November, 2017: Partnership with CERTs & CSIRT Begins.
Q2, 2018: Public Pre-sale Opens.
