The year 2017 which can be justly called the year of ICO and cryptocurrencies has come to the end. Just a year ago most people couldn’t even imagine that it would be possible to buy 1 BTC for 904.97 $ on 26/12/2016 and sell it for 16,614.00 $ on 5/01/2018 (coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#charts) and it was even more difficult to imagine buying 100 ETH for 729 $ on 26/12/2016 and selling them for 102,011 US dollars today and that’s in a moment (coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#charts).
Indeed, it’s a kind of virtual reality!

Therefore, I dedicate today’s post to the virtual reality, namely, a brief description of ALTAIR VR project.

The project concept is briefly and clearly stated in the White Paper:
"We are creating VR platform managed by the community through the blockchain to obtain the knowledge of the world. Our project offers the functions of development and distribution of VR experiments (applications) through the scenarios offered and created by the community members themselves.
The platform’s domestic economy is based on the token: any logging in is possible only for tokens which stimulates the development of project economy. Besides the payment token, there is also reputation score to evaluate the professional skills of ecosystem members.
The platform will become a global VR simulator aimed at the investigation of the world in all its aspects and spheres. We plan to invite both experts and everyone interested to take part in the creation of Altair VR platform content which will make the technology global.
The virtual education franchise giving access to the children from the farthest parts of the world will continue to work on the basis of the platform".

Back in 1992 when connecting to the Internet wasn’t an easy task in our country, a very interesting sci-fi film, “The Lawnmower Man”, came out. It shows a scientist’s investigations of the impact of virtual reality on the chimpanzee’s brain and later on the brain of a mentally retarded person. In the course of the experiment and training the subject of experiment turns into the most intelligent person of the planet because the training with the help of virtual reality allows to activate and use the parts of human brain not used before.

I got interested in ALTAIR VR project (http://altairvr.io) instantly. Besides the innovative approach to the training process, it offers great prospects of scaling, global development and common use which makes this project attractive for early investment.
